Dr. John Turner wrote Cups & Rings (the subject being the curious formations on the rocks of Kilmichael Glasserie in Scotland). Dr. John's late teacher, Hector MacAndrew, wrote Inverythan, and the gradual strathspey-to-reel transition used with Captain Campbell is known as a signature transition approach of Hector's, which Dr. John commonly teaches as an ode to his teacher.
